BRP WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBER

Nicolas (Laki) Nomicos

Valcourt, Québec, December 9, 2016 – BRP's (TSX:DOO) Board of Directors has approved the nomination of Nicolas (Laki) Nomicos, in replacement of Yvonne Hao, who is stepping down after three years as a director. Mr. Nomicos served on the Board of Directors of BRP from 2004 to 2015.

Mr. Nomicos is a Managing Director at Bain Capital Credit LLC, the credit arm of Bain Capital, and heads its Portfolio Group. Prior to joining Bain Capital Credit LLC in 2011, he was an Operating Partner at Bain Capital where he worked since 1999 in a variety of investments in the manufacturing and consumer product sectors. Previously, Mr. Nomicos was a senior corporate development and manufacturing executive at Oak Industries Inc., and he spent several years at Bain & Company, Inc. where he was a manager. Mr. Nomicos serves as a director of Dollarama Inc. He received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University.

Nomicos also joins BRP's Investment & Risk Committee. The changes become effective today.

"Yvonne has been on BRP's Board from 2013 and was deeply involved in BRP's initial public offering and its progress afterward, as a public company," added Boisjoli. "I join all other Board members in thanking her for her staunch support and high-value contribution over the past years."
