Gunskirchen, Austria, June 17, 2015– BRP (TSX:DOO) hosted over 200 Can-Am Spyder owners from 18 countries for the 2015 Grossglockner Challenge in Austria on June 11-13.

"The event is all about enjoying the community and riding Can-Am Spyder roadsters together in the scenic Upper Austria Lakes District crowned with the ultimate ride on Grossglockner High Alpine Road - one of highest paved roads in Europe," said Milos Laznicka, regional general manager for Russia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. "The Spyder community is strong and vibrant in Europe, and this was a great opportunity for us all to get together and share our stories."

Over 200 riders from 18 countries participated, including a group of 42 people from Poland. Sergey Neupokoev, from Kostroma, Russia, drove 3,026 km to join the event, and Anna-Lena Karlsson, from Ystad, Sweden travelled 1,072 km on her end, both winning the longest-distance-to-participate prizes. There was also a prize for highest odometer reading – 104,284 km – which went to Leif Karlsson from Sweden. The grand prize was one-year use of a Can-Am Spyder RT LTD that was won by Switzerland's Hazy Seliner.

Participants enjoyed touring the company's Rotax facility in Gunskirchen, Austria to see where BRP develops and produces its famed Rotax engines. All other community activities were held in Altmünster at Traunsee lake. The event gave riders an opportunity to see beautiful lakes and scenery as they rode on Grossglockner High Alpine Road, experience local culture and hospitality and share the Spyder experience with other owners.
